Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portfolio „Photos“. by Rudy Burckhardt was sold in the Frühjahr 2019 - Photographie auction at Grisebach in May 2019. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,600.00. Admittedly, works by Rudy Burckhardt have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flatiron Building, Summer, 1948 in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 10,200.00 (€ 7,709.75).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Portfolio „Photos“. von Rudy Burckhardt wurde im Mai 2019 in der Auktion Frühjahr 2019 - Photographie bei Grisebach versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.600,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rudy Burckhardt auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flatiron Building, Summer, 1948 im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 10.200,00 (€ 7.709,75).
