This artwork by Rudolf Schoofs achieved an unexpectedly high price at VAN HAM in June 2019. In the Discoveries auction, the work without title sold for EUR 3,354.00 - well above the estimate of EUR 1,800.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rudolf Schoofs; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Afrika sold at auction in December 2016 with the realized price of EUR 5,375.00.

Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rudolf Schoofs; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Afrika im Dezember 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 5.375,00.
