Auction result misses estimated price range
In April 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work Bewegungsstudie (Movement Study) by Rudolf Koppitz for USD 40,000.00 (€ 36,714.09). This price was achieved in the auction Photographs at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 60,000.00 – 90,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Rudolf Koppitz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bewegungsstudie (Movement Study) in April 2018 with an auction result of USD 399,000.00 (€ 330,462.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Bewegungsstudie (Movement Study) von Rudolf Koppitz für USD 40.000,00 (€ 36.714,09) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photographs bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 60.000,00 – 90.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rudolf Koppitz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bewegungsstudie (Movement Study) im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 399.000,00 (€ 330.462,15).
