Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Reading a letter by Rudolf Epp was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in October 2008. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rudolf Epp - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The toast, which sold at auction in April 2000 for GBP 7,285.00 (€ 12,471.63).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden.
