Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rudolf Epp could be acquired at Christies in New York in March 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Breakfast with the Cat changed hands for USD 3,824.00 (€ 3,508.26) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rudolf Epp - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The toast, which sold at auction in April 2000 for GBP 7,285.00 (€ 12,471.63).
