Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Painting #01-19 by Rudolf de Crignis was sold in the First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in December 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,250.00 (€ 1,964.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Rudolf de Crignis have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work „PAINTING #02-11“ in July 2021 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Painting #01-19 von Rudolf de Crignis wurde im Dezember 2018 in der Auktion First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.250,00 (€ 1.964,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rudolf de Crignis auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit „PAINTING #02-11“ im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
