Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Rudolf Bauer could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Untitled (A Pair Of Works) changed hands for USD 1,638.00 (€ 1,406.37) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rudolf Bauer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Squares in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 850,000.00 (€ 773,148.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rudolf Bauer konnte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wechselte die Arbeit Untitled (A Pair Of Works) für USD 1.638,00 (€ 1.406,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rudolf Bauer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Squares im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 850.000,00 (€ 773.148,99).
