Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 822.50 (€ 1,378.94). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rowland John Robb Langmaid - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunset, Westminster, which sold at auction in May 2005 for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,960.41).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 822,50 (€ 1.378,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Rowland John Robb Langmaid mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunset, Westminster beobachtet, die im Mai 2005 für GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.960,41) versteigert wurde.
