The result of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 4,452.38) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rowland Hilder - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Old Oast Houses at Chiddingstone, Kent, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,465.18).
