Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2009 a collector was able to acquire the work East Coast Marsh by Rowland Hilder for GBP 875.00 (€ 984.96). This price was achieved in the auction Christie's Interiors at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rowland Hilder achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Old Oast Houses at Chiddingstone, Kent in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,465.18).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Januar 2009 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit East Coast Marsh von Rowland Hilder für GBP 875,00 (€ 984,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rowland Hilder erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Old Oast Houses at Chiddingstone, Kent im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.465,18).
