Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ross Iannatti could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2020 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction: Online auction, the work Hysteresis No. 50 changed hands for USD 1,890.00 (€ 1,581.85) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ross Iannatti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hysteresis no. 46, which sold at auction in December 2016 for GBP 5,250.00 (€ 6,138.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ross Iannatti konnte im November 2020 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction: Online wechselte die Arbeit Hysteresis No. 50 für USD 1.890,00 (€ 1.581,85) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Ross Iannatti mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hysteresis no. 46 beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für GBP 5.250,00 (€ 6.138,10) versteigert wurde.
