This artwork by Rosemary Laing achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in April 2006. In the Photographs auction, the work Groundspeed (Red Piazza) #4, 2001 sold for USD 10,800.00 (€ 8,555.13) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Rosemary Laing; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Flight Research #5, 1999 sold at auction in April 2006 with the realized price of USD 14,400.00 (€ 11,406.84).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Rosemary Laing erzielte im April 2006 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Photographs wurde die Arbeit Groundspeed (Red Piazza) #4, 2001 für USD 10.800,00 (€ 8.555,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Rosemary Laing; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Flight Research #5, 1999 im April 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 14.400,00 (€ 11.406,84).
