Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Not yet titled by Rosemarie Trockel was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 152,400.00 (€ 143,990.93). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rosemarie Trockel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 4,981,000.00 (€ 3,651,759.53).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Not yet titled von Rosemarie Trockel kam im September diesen Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 152.400,00 (€ 143.990,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rosemarie Trockel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.981.000,00 (€ 3.651.759,53).
