Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ronald Bladen could be acquired at Christies in New York in May 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art Morning Session auction, the work Model for Kama Sutra changed hands for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,124.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Ronald Bladen have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2015 by the work White and Black at USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,780.79).
