Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Study For Black Saxon, 1977 by Ronald Bladen for USD 2,200.00 (€ 1,785.71). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Online at Sothebys in Online and was even below the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ronald Bladen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work White and Black in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 16,250.00 (€ 14,780.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Study For Black Saxon, 1977 von Ronald Bladen für USD 2.200,00 (€ 1.785,71) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in Online erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ronald Bladen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit White and Black im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 14.780,79).
