The »bidding war« ended at GBP 137,500.00 (€ 154,570.39), 53% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ron Arad; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot London Papardelle sold at auction in October 2008 with the realized price of GBP 139,250.00 (€ 177,493.79).
