The »bidding war« ended at HKD 112,500.00 (€ 12,875.59), 73% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Romeo Tabuena - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Three Beggars, which sold at auction in November 2015 for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,854.38).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 112.500,00 (€ 12.875,59) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Romeo Tabuena mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Three Beggars beobachtet, die im November 2015 für HKD 400.000,00 (€ 48.854,38) versteigert wurde.
