Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Guitar and Birdcage by Romeo Tabuena was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in July 2020. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,847.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Romeo Tabuena have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Three Beggars in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,854.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Guitar and Birdcage von Romeo Tabuena kam im Juli 2020 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.847,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Romeo Tabuena auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Three Beggars im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 400.000,00 (€ 48.854,38).
