A top price for Romeo Tabuena
This artwork by Romeo Tabuena achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2015. In the Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Three Beggars sold for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 48,854.38) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 160,000.00. This high result makes Three Beggars the most expensive artwork by Romeo Tabuena that we have observed at auctions so far.
