Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ritual Bayou - 1971 by Romare Bearden was sold in the Limited Edition auction at Artcurial in November this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,411.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Romare Bearden achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Street in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 1,109,000.00 (€ 982,546.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Ritual Bayou - 1971 von Romare Bearden wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Limited Edition bei Artcurial versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.411,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Romare Bearden erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Street im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.109.000,00 (€ 982.546,29).
