A top price for Rolf Brem - as previously expected
The work Relief by Rolf Brem was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of CHF 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of CHF 10,080.00 (€ 9,194.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Relief is the most expensive artwork by Rolf Brem that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit Relief von Rolf Brem kam im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von CHF 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von CHF 10.080,00 (€ 9.194,34) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Relief das teuerste Kunstwerk von Rolf Brem, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
