Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2007 Christies in London held the auction British & Continental Watercolours & Drawings, which included the work View Across London From Battersea by Roland Vivian Pitchforth. The price achieved of GBP 250.00 (€ 339.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200.00 – 300.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Roland Vivian Pitchforth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yorkshire Dales (illustrated); and Canal scene, Leeds, which sold at auction in May 2012 for GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,245.96).

Im Dezember 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British & Continental Watercolours & Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit View Across London From Battersea von Roland Vivian Pitchforth zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 250,00 (€ 339,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben worden.
