In May 2005 Christies in Melbourne held the auction PAINTINGS FROM THE JOSEPH BROWN COLLECTION, which included the work Sequence by Roger Kemp. The »bidding war« ended at AUD 2,390.00 (€ 1,469.15), 59% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roger Kemp achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Australian Abstract Structure in April 2008 with an auction result of AUD 114,000.00 (€ 68,972.64).

Im Mai 2005 führte Christies in Melbourne die Auktion PAINTINGS FROM THE JOSEPH BROWN COLLECTION durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sequence von Roger Kemp zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von AUD 2.390,00 (€ 1.469,15) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roger Kemp erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Australian Abstract Structure im April 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 114.000,00 (€ 68.972,64).
