A top price for Roger Kemp - as previously expected
The work Australian Abstract Structure by Roger Kemp was sold in the Important Paintings auction at Sothebys in Sydney in April 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of AUD 100,000.00 – 180,000.00, the actual price achieved of AUD 114,000.00 (€ 68,972.64) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Australian Abstract Structure is the most expensive artwork by Roger Kemp that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Australian Abstract Structure von Roger Kemp wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion Important Paintings bei Sothebys in Sydney versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von AUD 100.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von AUD 114.000,00 (€ 68.972,64) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
