Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Rogelio Polesello was sold in the Living With Art auction at Christies in New York in June 2016. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 300,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,665.34) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rogelio Polesello achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,437.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rogelio Polesello wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Living With Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.665,34) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rogelio Polesello erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.437,17).
