Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Rogelio Polesello achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in June 2014. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art 2 auction, the work Sans Titre - 1966 sold for EUR 22,083.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Rogelio Polesello - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2017 for USD 93,750.00 (€ 83,437.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rogelio Polesello erzielte im Juni 2014 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art 2 wurde die Arbeit Sans Titre - 1966 für EUR 22.083,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Rogelio Polesello mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für USD 93.750,00 (€ 83.437,17) versteigert wurde.
