Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Old Masters and 19th Century Art, which included the work A wooded river landscape with fishermen near a ruined tower by Roelof Jansz van Vries. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roelof Jansz van Vries have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Wooded River Landscape With Fishermen In A Boat And Hunters On A Track, A Town Beyond in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 60,250.00.

Im November 2010 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters and 19th Century Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A wooded river landscape with fishermen near a ruined tower von Roelof Jansz van Vries zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden.
