Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Roelof Jansz van Vries could be acquired at Christies in London in July 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Masters Day Sale auction, the work A landscape with cattle and figures on a path by a cottage changed hands for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,409.15) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Roelof Jansz van Vries have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Wooded River Landscape With Fishermen In A Boat And Hunters On A Track, A Town Beyond in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 60,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Roelof Jansz van Vries konnte im Juli 2018 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit A landscape with cattle and figures on a path by a cottage für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.409,15) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00.
