Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Figures travelling on a path near a cottage, a ruined tower beyond by Roelof Jansz van Vries was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in June 2012. The price achieved of EUR 3,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roelof Jansz van Vries achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Wooded River Landscape With Fishermen In A Boat And Hunters On A Track, A Town Beyond in April 2008 with an auction result of EUR 60,250.00.

Die Arbeit Figures travelling on a path near a cottage, a ruined tower beyond von Roelof Jansz van Vries kam im Juni 2012 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roelof Jansz van Vries erzielen.
