In July 2019 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Day Sale, which included the work A Mountainous Landscape With A Foundry And Blast Furnace By A Cascading Waterfall by Roelandt Savery. The result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 27,448.34) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roelandt Savery achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orpheus Charming The Animals in December 2016 with an auction result of GBP 452,750.00 (€ 529,338.21).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Juli 2019 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Mountainous Landscape With A Foundry And Blast Furnace By A Cascading Waterfall von Roelandt Savery zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 27.448,34) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roelandt Savery erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orpheus Charming The Animals im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 452.750,00 (€ 529.338,21).
