Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2016 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included this untitled work by Rodolfo Morales. The price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 21,270.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Rodolfo Morales achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Procession in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 275,000.00 (€ 249,568.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2016 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Rodolfo Morales zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 21.270,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Rodolfo Morales erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Procession im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 275.000,00 (€ 249.568,93).
