Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Rodolfo Morales achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in May 2017. In the Latin American Art auction, the work without title sold for USD 52,500.00 (€ 46,724.81) - well above the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Rodolfo Morales have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Procession in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 275,000.00 (€ 249,568.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Rodolfo Morales erzielte im Mai 2017 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Latin American Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 52.500,00 (€ 46.724,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Rodolfo Morales auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Procession im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 275.000,00 (€ 249.568,93).
