Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ready for Battle by Roby Dwi Antono was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in March this year. The price achieved of USD 10,160.00 (€ 9,345.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roby Dwi Antono achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Asih in May last year with an auction result of HKD 2,520,000.00 (€ 299,178.08).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ready for Battle von Roby Dwi Antono wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.160,00 (€ 9.345,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roby Dwi Antono erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Asih im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.520.000,00 (€ 299.178,08).
