Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robin Rhode could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams auction, the work Brick Face changed hands for USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,958.35) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robin Rhode - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Street Gym, which sold at auction in November 2011 for USD 92,500.00 (€ 68,757.90).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Robin Rhode konnte im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Creating a Stage: The Collection of Marsha and Robin Williams wechselte die Arbeit Brick Face für USD 23.750,00 (€ 20.958,35) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00.
