Auction result well in line with expectations

The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 10,188.37) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diamond In A Goat'S Ass (A Lyrically Poetic Euphemism For Pretension) in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 60,486.69).

Die Arbeit Nude Holding A Cat von Robert Williams kam im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 10.188,37) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
