In October 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Four Seasons Seen Through The Eyes Of Jessica'S Sock Monkey by Robert Williams for USD 12,500.00 (€ 11,320.41). This price was achieved in the auction American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Robert Williams have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Diamond In A Goat'S Ass (A Lyrically Poetic Euphemism For Pretension) in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 43,750.00 (€ 60,486.69).
