In May 2000 Christies in London held the auction Maritime, which included the work The Battle of Trafalgar: H.M.S. Victory, Temeraire and Neptune breaking the enemy line, 21st October 1805 by Robert Trenaman Back. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,462.50 (€ 10,369.93), 62% above the upper estimate.
