Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Sothebys in London held the auction The Library of Henry Rogers Broughton, 2nd Baron Fairhaven Part I, which included the work Cistinae. The natural order of cistus..., 1825-1830 by Robert Sweet. The price achieved of GBP 693.00 (€ 815.25) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Sweet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The British Flower Garden, 1823-1838, 7 volumes in May last year with an auction result of GBP 7,560.00 (€ 8,893.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Library of Henry Rogers Broughton, 2nd Baron Fairhaven Part I durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cistinae. The natural order of cistus..., 1825-1830 von Robert Sweet zur Versteigerung kam.
