Auction result misses estimated price range
In July this year a collector was able to acquire the work Ghost Truck #2 by Robert Nava for USD 24,130.00 (€ 21,896.55). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Nava achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Before Minotaur in October last year with an auction result of GBP 639,600.00 (€ 745,126.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ghost Truck #2 von Robert Nava für USD 24.130,00 (€ 21.896,55) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Nava erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Before Minotaur im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 639.600,00 (€ 745.126,92).
