This artwork by Robert Nava achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November this year. In the Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou auction, the work Sabre Tooth Rose Growth sold for HKD 2,772,000.00 (€ 325,280.53) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 1,200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Nava - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Before Minotaur, which sold at auction in October last year for GBP 639,600.00 (€ 745,126.92).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Nava erzielte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-Millennium Evening Sale, a Collab with Jay Chou wurde die Arbeit Sabre Tooth Rose Growth für HKD 2.772.000,00 (€ 325.280,53) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 1.200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Robert Nava mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Before Minotaur beobachtet, die im Oktober letzten Jahres für GBP 639.600,00 (€ 745.126,92) versteigert wurde.
