Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Robert Morris was sold in the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction at Sothebys in London in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 119,420.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Morris have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,258,500.00 (€ 965,403.50).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Robert Morris wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 119.420,78) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Morris auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.258.500,00 (€ 965.403,50).
