Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Morris could be acquired at Bonhams in New York in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the No Reserve Prints and Multiples Holiday Online Sale auction, the work Towers Of Silence, From In The Realm Of The Carceral Portfolio changed hands for USD 275.00 (€ 240.05) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Morris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 1,258,500.00 (€ 965,403.50).
