Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Christies in Paris held the auction Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour, which included the work Développement exceptionnel d’une cristallisation d’aliments blancs by Robert Malaval. The price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Malaval have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rolling Stones - 1969-73 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 39,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Post-war and contemporary art - vente du jour durch, in der auch die Arbeit Développement exceptionnel d’une cristallisation d’aliments blancs von Robert Malaval zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Malaval auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rolling Stones - 1969-73 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.000,00.
