Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Robert Malaval achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March last year. In the Contemporary Art auction, the work Sherry V.D. Dans Son Propre Role II (Empreinte Rose Sur Fond Mauve) - 1967 sold for EUR 6,560.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Robert Malaval have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rolling Stones - 1969-73 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 39,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Malaval erzielte im März letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Sherry V.D. Dans Son Propre Role II (Empreinte Rose Sur Fond Mauve) - 1967 für EUR 6.560,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Malaval auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rolling Stones - 1969-73 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.000,00.
