In October 2021 Bonhams in Paris held the auction Le parcours d'un collectionneurd'Alain Jacquet à Robert Combas, which included the work Nicole G. vue de dos by Robert Malaval. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 7,650.00 53% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Robert Malaval have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rolling Stones - 1969-73 in November 2016 with an auction result of EUR 39,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 53 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2021 führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Le parcours d'un collectionneurd'Alain Jacquet à Robert Combas durch, in der auch die Arbeit Nicole G. vue de dos von Robert Malaval zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 7.650,00 und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Malaval auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rolling Stones - 1969-73 im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.000,00.
