This artwork by Robert Klippel achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Melbourne in November 2009. In the Important Australian Art auction, the work Australian Ls 89 sold for AUD 2,640.00 (€ 1,609.81) - well above the upper estimate of AUD 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Klippel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Opus 361 (Eighteen Miniature Constructions) in March 2006 with an auction result of AUD 507,800.00 (€ 299,727.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Klippel erzielte im November 2009 bei Sothebys in Melbourne einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Australian Art wurde die Arbeit Australian Ls 89 für AUD 2.640,00 (€ 1.609,81) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von AUD 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Klippel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Opus 361 (Eighteen Miniature Constructions) im März 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von AUD 507.800,00 (€ 299.727,08).
