Auction result well in line with expectations
The work "Heather from the Hills - Arran" by Robert Herdman was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2003. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,931.00 (€ 10,123.36) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Robert Herdman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The tired Pifferaro Abruzzese, which sold at auction in November 2001 for GBP 14,100.00 (€ 22,437.54).

Die Arbeit "Heather from the Hills - Arran" von Robert Herdman kam im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.931,00 (€ 10.123,36) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00.
