Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Robert Heinecken could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in October 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs auction, the work 'Smells Like Nothing . . . Works Like Crazy' changed hands for USD 2,750.00 (€ 2,360.92) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Heinecken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cliché Vary/Lesbianism in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 118,914.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Robert Heinecken konnte im Oktober 2017 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs wechselte die Arbeit 'Smells Like Nothing . . . Works Like Crazy' für USD 2.750,00 (€ 2.360,92) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Heinecken erzielen.
