Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Just Good Eats For U Diner (Documentary Photograms By Robert F. Heinecken)' by Robert Heinecken. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 6,975.45) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Heinecken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Cliché Vary/Lesbianism in October 2014 with an auction result of USD 149,000.00 (€ 118,914.60).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Just Good Eats For U Diner (Documentary Photograms By Robert F. Heinecken)' von Robert Heinecken zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 6.975,45) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Robert Heinecken erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Cliché Vary/Lesbianism im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 118.914,60).
