Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trefruw Mill, near Llanrwst by Robert Dodd was sold in the AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in July 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 334.60 (€ 505.65) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Dodd achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Greenland Whale Fishery in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 88,800.00 (€ 131,870.78).

Die Arbeit Trefruw Mill, near Llanrwst von Robert Dodd wurde im Juli 2004 in der Auktion AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 334,60 (€ 505,65) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
